Elliah Heifetz

Elliah Heifetz is a first-generation American composer, pop songwriter, and country-folk singer with a story to tell. Raised in the Little Russia neighborhood of Philadelphia by immigrant parents, he worked his way through a literature degree at Yale, and somewhere along the way, became a musician.

As a theatrical composer and lyricist, his works include TAKE THE LEAD (adaption of 2006 New Line film); THE DEATH OF DESERT ROSE (Commercial option, Dramatist Guild Fellows); DUST CAN’T KILL ME (NYC Fringe – Best Music & Lyrics, NYMF – Best Music); WE ARE PILGRIMS (ASTIR Lab Series, Barn Arts Collective); BABA YAGA (ISU); UNTITLED BEALE CIPHERS MUSICAL (Signature Theatre in D.C.), among others.

Published by The Brain Music, Elliah has also collaborated with hit pop songwriters and producers like Freddy Wexler (Kanye West, Selena Gomez), Dave Kuncio (Dierks Bentley, Steve Aoki), and Neff-U (Dr. Dre, Justin Bieber), and has had placements on major label projects and network TV soundtracks. Most recently, along with Wexler, he co-wrote “Ruins” for Season 4 of Emily in Paris, performed on screen by Tony-nominated series star Ashley Park in the season finale.

Additionally, Elliah performs his original Americana songs, which have been streamed over a million times online and heard live from New York to Nashville (TIDAL’s Best Of: Rising Folk/Country).

For Elliah, the rule is simple: if there’s good music to be written, music that tells a story and comes from the heart, he wants to write it.
