Justin Bieber’s sixth album released on March 19, 2021, in collaboration with Freddy Wexler (Principal and CEO of The Brain Music) as a songwriter. The album debuted atop the Billboard 200 chart, selling 154,000 equivalent album units in the United States in its first week and becoming Bieber’s eight number one album on the chart. In the summer of 2020, Sony/ATV Music Publishing announced it has signed a global publishing administration agreement with the multi-platinum, award-winning songwriter and producer Freddy Wexler (Principal and CEO of The Brain Music). Sony is where Freddy got his start when he was only 19 years old, leading to his prolific career in songwriting and continuing his relationship with the chairman of Sony/ATV Chairman, Jon Platt.
The collaboration between American music producer Marshmello and singer Halsey reached number 29 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the U.S. and and went on to chart within the top 20 in Australia, Belgium, Canada, Lithuania, Malaysia, and Singapore. The song appears in Halsey’s sixth extended play (EP), Collabs (2020), serving as its lead single, and also appears on the expanded version of her third studio album, Manic (2020), serving as its fourth single. Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber have released a new song, “Stuck With U,” and an accompanying music video early Friday morning. The song is a fundraiser for the First Responders Children’s Foundation, which provides grants and scholarships to the children of medical workers, emergency medical technicians, firefighters and police officers, according to the video’s description on YouTube.
