The Brain House: in 2012, Wexler sent six people one-way tickets to Los Angeles, inviting them to work and live together in a home in West Hollywood. Attempting to forge the optimal creative environment, Wexler essentially built a modern-day songwriting commune. The unfamiliar group, which comprised two artists and four songwriters who had never before met, became a highly successful creative collective. Residents of the house were the first people to officially sign contracts with The Brain.
